SR3 Rake - For Landscapers & Contractors

The SR3 is a commercial-grade seedbed preparation attachment for skid steer. This amazing landscape rake incorporates an auto leveling blade, hydraulic scarifiers and a finishing rake to properly prepare the perfect seedbed, free of compaction, for excellent seed-to-soil contact and accelerated germination. Unlike a power rake, the SR3 has no rotary components so it can take abuse like no other soil prep attachment can. Possibly the greatest benefit of the SR3 is ease of use. With clear sight lines to the front edge of the tool the operator can have confidence even along concrete edges, irrigation heads, landscaping, and buildings. Even an inexperienced operator can quickly become an expert SR3 operator as it can be operated with the loader arms in "Float". The SR3 has the capability to complete both light rough grading and finish grading jobs more quickly and easily than ever before. Forward and reverse grading and raking operation. Loosens soil up to 3"(standard), adjustable to 5". Required Vehicle Specs: Skid Steer Universal Mount, 40 - 90 hp., Max 10,750 lb. Operating Weight, Standard Flow, Unit rake is 7.5' wide.
SR3 Overview
Time Saver

With an easy-to-set depth control in the gauge and float wheels, any operator can quickly clear, grade, and finish the toughest of jobs. Sift out rocks, level, and loosen when pulling the SR3; push large amounts of material and feather loose soil up against an edge when pushing forward!

Less Downtime & Handwork

The ability of the SR3 to finish a job from overgrown land to a seedready finish drastically reduces time spent changing tools, unloading trailers, reconnecting hydraulics, and more. Its ability to tackle every job-from spreading large mounds of topsoil & removing debris to feathering against a tight edge-greatly reduces the need for other tools and handwork. Watch your profits soar: complete more jobs each day with fewer staff on site!

For Any Crew

Matchless in the landscape industry, the float & gauge wheels on the SR3 let any operator achieve quick, easy, and professional results. Furthermore, the low-profile design was engineered to provide maximum visibility of ground-engaging components (minimizing guess-work). Assign any crew with confidence!

Soil Decompaction

SR1 Grading Rake - Decompacted Soil

At ABI Attachments we know that there is nothing more important to preparing a proper seedbed than getting rid of the compaction of the soil. A de-compacted soil allows water and air to reach the roots of the seed, giving those roots the ability to anchor deep creating a stable and healthy turf.

Scott Holmes and Kevin Keigley with ABI Attachments discuss the differences between each Skid Steer Rake and which one would be right for you.

Trent Gillam with Henderson Turf Farm talks with Scott Holmes with ABI Attachments about the benefits of the TR3 Command Series and the impact it has on seedbed germination.

SR3 Grading Rake I Beam

I-Beam Design

Fully welded for the utmost strength and longevity. Our Command Series tools are designed to work under tough conditions all day, every day.

SR3 Grading Rake

Innovative 3-In-One Design

Designed to operate at an angle, the SR3 is a wheel-supported attachment with 3 ground-engaging components that work together to create the ideal seedbed.

SR3 Grading Rake Rock Teeth

Leveling Blade w/ Hinged Rock Teeth

Pulled backward, this blade floats to equalize high & low areas without damaging the ground, while rock teeth collect surface debris. It can also lock for aggressive grading. Pushed forward, the blade & teeth hinge up to eliminate resistance.

SR3 Grading Rake Wheel

16in Float & Gauge Tires

16″ float & gauge tires gauge working depth and allow the skid steer to work in the “float” position to keep the tool consistently engaged with the ground even when operating on rough terrain! Foam-filled for never-flat durability.

SR3 Grading Rake

Heavy-Duty Steel Finish Rake

The heavy-duty steel finish rake gives the SR3 both finesse and strength. Push forward to slice vegetation, clear debris, and spread top soil. Pull backward to pulverize dirt clods and leave an ideal seed- or sod-ready finish. Replaceable in 1′ sections. 3/4″-thick laser-cut hardened-steel.

SR3 Grading Rake Hydraulic

Hydraulic Scarifiers

Hydraulic scarifiers loosen the ground from 0-5″ with on-the-fly hydraulic depth control. These cast teeth penetrate the hardest of conditions and bolt-on tips keep maintenance costs low.

Great for leveling and grading rough surfaces, especially where there is existing sod or vegetation. Takes a little time for operator to learn ins and outs of attachment for smooth final grades. Built to last.

We were looking for a machine that would break hard packed soil on builder lots. Machine works great and faster than the Harley rake. Levels and preps sites better than anything we used in 20 years. Very impressed.

I purchased the sr1 and absolutely love it. I use it with my John Deere 317 skid steer, land clearing, spreading dirt, raking debris, gravel roads; great awesome attachment for tractor!!!! I will more than likely upgrade to the sr3.

SR3 replaces multiple attachments: When making a purchase, I look for versatility and efficiency. SR3 rake is the REAL DEAL. I have to give the creators of this product 2 thumbs up. The marketing is 100% accurate of efficiency & results. I did lots of research on this attachment, and ABI said if I don’t like it in a certain time frame I can send it back…… We never sent it back! We have very hard packed clay in central VA and this tool is 100% the grading solution for a high output result in hard clay soil. We have great results without the expense of topsoil, and by following the recommended methods of proper planting, using the right seed & fertilizer etc.. I never wright reviews, but the SR3 is worth giving feedback on. I was very skeptical of durability & performance, until we saw it in person and started using it. This unit also keeps dust down much more than a power rake during the dry season. It’s affordable and was very well engineered.

My boss got me the sr3 put it on a bobcat t650 and after a week or 2 of using it I was able double my production compared to the preseeder and Harley rake I was accustomed to using SR3 Grading Rake.

I purchased this to clear and level the thick organic layer that builds up in this part of the Alaska woods. It has performed better than expected and is much more durable than it looks at first. I was able to lift up and remove small (6 inch) stumps without having to switch to a grapple. I have also used it to smooth out and remove potholes from my gravel driveway. I am not an experienced operator but I found this device easy to learn and use effectively in a fairly short time. SR3 Grading Rake

I purchased an SR3 for our track loader and a Mini SR for our mini track loader at the same time approx two weeks ago. In that time we’ve restored over 6 acres of natural gas pipeline using only these two. Lastly, the ship time was incredible! We were preparing to begin a large scale prep and sod project when I finally decided to pull the trigger on these. I spoke with Casey Weaver and he said he would do his best to get them shipped out within 7-9 days. This was on a Monday afternoon. Friday afternoon I was shocked to get a call from the freight company making sure I would be available to unload the truck that day! Phenomenal service. Casey went out of his way to make sure I’d have the attachments in time. attachments for soil prep and finish grade. I knew the mini SR would eliminate a ton of hand work but it’s far exceeded my expectations…and also that of the laborers who were skeptical. While the SR3 certainly doesn’t replace a soil conditioner, we’ve found it to be far more effective and loosening hard pack soil. Typically on a gas pipeline right of way we always have trouble with compaction on the travel lanes used by the dozers, excavators and haul trucks. Soil conditioners are ok but the SR3 is far better at truly loosening the soil to allow for a better finish grade. These new attachments have impressed just about everyone who’s watched them in action.Ê

By far the best attachment I have ever purchased! This thing is truly amazing! A huge time and $$ saver! I am by far no operator and when using the SR3 rake my end product make me look like I have been landscaping/operating my whole life. I own a large outdoor shooting range in Mobile, AL., Silver Creek Range, with miles of gravel roads and numerous ranges to maintain. I can quickly rake a large area and make it look professionally, meticulous hand landscaped within minutes. I can also take 1/2 a load of rock and perfectly spread it out making it look like it was hand placed where it would have normally taken a whole load of rock to do the same. I have also use this to clear off a lot full of small trees and shrubs where at the end it was perfectly level with usable, grass seed ready dirt. I highly recommend this and can even let you come check it out if your in my area.

Purchased the SR3 and Command Seeder for a large grading/landscaping project that had a lot of ditch work and slopes to place topsoil and seed. Both tools have exceeded our expectations for ease of use and productivity. Can easily seed 2:1 slopes with the Command Seeder and skid steer attachment. We also own a TR3E rake for grooming our riding arenas.

The SR3 is an incredible tough and efficient machine. I’ve used it in many different situations during the spring thru fall season before, but this winter when the driveways became as slippery as an ice rink I used the hydraulic teeth to break up the 2 inch ice coating. It worked great, leaving 3”x 3” x 2” ice chunks which I then used the rear comb to rake the ice away.

I did a couple of neighbors driveways and their comments were: Tx so much for “breaking the ice”… T (her dog) and I thank you, the postman and UPS drivers thank you, the hospice staff thanks you… 🙏🏻
