Dumping cargo with the electric lift is as easy as pushing a button right from the seat of your ATV or tractor! There is no need to manually dump or struggle with a winch system. Simply use the handlebar mounted controller to raise and lower the dump bed with ZERO effort. The powerful electric lift can easily dump a fully loaded trailer bed weighing over a half ton (U.S Rating = 1,100 lbs.)! A fully electric system also offers additional benefits: it is maintenance free, no hoses to manage, no hydraulic fluid to leak, no dirt or grime, no manual labor & no greasing required. Some trailers use a manual winch and boom arm system that requires 1 – 2 manual revolutions to raise the bed just 1″. Don’t struggle with a manual winch when a simple push of a button can get the job done much faster and with no effort! Also because the actuator pushes the bed up, from under the bed, there is no tall boom arm in the way to prevent you from going wherever you need to go.

The Workman trailer has a very steep dump angle that enables the operator to fully empty the load without manual labor. Many trailers do not have a steep enough angle and force the operator to manually complete the job with a shovel. Not the Workman Trailer however, in fact the trailer dump system is so advanced, the dump angle can be adjusted from the seat of the tow vehicle “on-the-fly.” This allows precise dumping of, just the right amount of, material where you need it. This is ideal for spot filling gravel into low spots and potholes or applying a long continuous layer of gravel on a driveway or topsoil to a new lawn. This is a powerful time saving feature, and it is accomplished without the use of hydraulics!

With safety in mind, the Workman XL trailer features electric brakes to provide the stopping power you need to control big loads. It even includes a brake/tail light. ATVs / UTVs are now tackling bigger jobs and hauling larger loads than ever before, both down the trail and around the property. However, without brakes the operator may not be in control! The Workman XL atv trailer’s electric brakes are located on the front axle and are operated with the atv’s brake lever. The more pressure that is applied to the brake lever the more braking power will be applied; just like the atv braking system. A brake controller is included that enables the operator to adjust when the brakes on the trailer engage. Factory default is instant, but it may also be set to 1, 2, & 3 second delay. The controller is mounted inside a box secured to the frame of the trailer and trailer wiring is run through the frame of the trailer. The brakes are simply operated by your ATVs brake light system as the Workman XL trailer has a built in electric brake controller. The electronic braking system is not “out-of-the-box” compatible with a small number of ATVs. We offer optional parts and tech support to make most all machines compatible.

It is comforting to know that if you do get caught in dusty conditions on the trail or are riding or working into the evening hours, the Workman Trailer has a large and bright tail light to keep you visible. Even more than that, it is a dual element brake light that brightens when the brake is applied so those traveling behind you know you are slowing or stopping. This is a major advancement in safety for rugged off-road atv trailers / atv wagons.

The Workman XL ATV / UTV utility dump trailer features four wheel independent torsion bar suspension and huge 25″ tires that allow the trailer to float over the roughest terrain imaginable. This is no wimpy and unstable “walking beam” suspension. True four wheel independent torsion bar suspension axles allow each wheel to be independently suspended. One tire can go up while the other tire can go down. Each axle is rated at 800 lbs. and combined with the weight of the unit they allow safe hauling of 1,100 lbs. of cargo. The GVWR for this trailer is 1,600 lbs. The atv trailer is also equipped with high speed tapered roller bearings and the spindle is over an inch thick with a true hub bolted on to a 2″ thick axle. All this means you have a rugged and dependable suspension system that can take on whatever rough terrain your ATV or UTV can handle. It also means tires will stay in better contact with the ground, for better control at higher (responsible) speeds down the trail. This is one serious off-road atv dump / utility trailer! You simply won’t find a better suspension system on a utility dump trailer for atv. Period.

The Workman atv dump trailer rides upon massive 25″ tires. These are the largest tires available for any pull-behind ATV dump trailer. They are low pressure 25″ x 12″ x 9″ 4PR tires that can handle heavy loads, absorb rough terrain and provide excellent ground clearance. In fact, the Workman trailer has an full 11″ ground clearance to crawl over just about anything in your path. The tires are rated to handle 580 lbs each at 14 psi (2,320 lbs. total). 5 - 7 psi is operating pressure. Due to their size, these tires allow an incredible amount of “Float” over soft or muddy terrain, even under heavy load! Now the operator can haul a load of firewood or a small round bail across the pasture with minimal to no disturbance to the ground! Even pull the firewood right across the lawn up to the house with no worries. On the trail, easily ford through low-lying areas, shallow water and soft areas with confidence! The atv trailer is also equipped with high speed tapered roller bearings and the spindle is over an inch thick with a true hub bolted on to a 2″ thick axle.

The dump bed of the Workman ATV utility trailer is constructed of fully welded 14 gauge steel and is completely powder coated along with extra reinforced welds and supports where it is needed. This is one strong dump bed that is ready to work hard around the property.

For convenience and safety the Workman ATV Trailer comes standard with 4 “D-Ring” tie-downs. They are coated in order to not damage the powder coating or clang on the side of the trailer. Supply your own fasteners, ropes, straps, etc to keep your tall lighter loads from shifting or falling out of the trailer.

The frame of the Workman ATV Dump trailer is constructed of 2″ x 2″ heavy duty steel. This frame is designed for extreme durability in the harshest conditions.
