The world leader in driveway graders, landscape rakes, and water trailers for land owners.
Small-acreage property maintenance will require different equipment depending on the property’s use and geography. A general landowner may need a mower, UTV, or small tractor to get around the property, mow, handle wood, maintain gravel driveways and trails, handle snow removal, and more. Someone who also raises livestock will need a larger tractor or additional equipment to hydraulically lift and lower heavy loads, haul livestock, install and maintain fences, haul feed and water, maintain pastures, and handle manure. Someone who owns horses or other show stock will also need equipment to clean stalls, maintain dry lots, and maintain the performance surface footing in the horse arena, specific to their riding discipline or sport.
Gravel, dirt, and arena footing maintenance requires equipment properly suited to the available towing vehicle, the material being maintained, and the expected results. Most attachments are designed to work with a specific type of towing vehicle, and most are designed to work with either gravel, dirt, or arena footing. However, there are a few attachments designed to work well with gravel, dirt, and arena footing. These include products named TR3 (for tractors), Rascal Pro (for ATV & UTV), and SR3 (for skid steer loaders) made by ABI Attachments. Please speak with a trained and experienced ABI Attachments product expert at 877.788.7253 for specific guidance.
The Workman XL is compatible with ATVs and UTVs from 200cc and up, as well as sub-compact and compact tractors. A minimum of 18 horsepower and 350cc 4WD is required. It connects via a standard 2-inch ball hitch. Check your vehicle’s towing capacity against the 1,600-pound GVWR before ordering.
A push-button controller triggers an electric actuator with a 55:1 gear ratio and 12-inch stroke that lifts the bed. The actuator takes 50 seconds to fully extend and is rated to lift up to 1,050 pounds without manual assistance. The bed tilts at enough of an angle to empty completely on its own.
Yes. Trigger the dump while driving slowly forward and material flows out evenly as you go, letting you cover a driveway or path in one pass without stopping to reposition.
Most budget ATV trailers use manual tipping mechanisms, lighter steel, single axles, and small tires with limited ground clearance. The Workman XL adds electric dumping, dual axles with a 1,600-pound GVWR, electric brakes, 25″ x 12″ x 9″ 4PR tires with 11 inches of ground clearance, welded 14-gauge steel construction, and a 2-year limited warranty. It is built for daily work in real conditions, not occasional light hauling.
